Within the last year and a half, perhaps even two, viruses have morphed into mostly 3 basic categories with many variations of these categories:
- Malware and/or Rootkits
- ADS Streams
- Spyware
So where are the viruses? They are something else now. It’s a new game of cat and mouse, where you are forced to think that you need some utility program that is “the only” program that can fix your error message. That very same counterfeit pop-up message was a result of spyware or malware created on your computer. Usually, these pop-up messages that chronically keep showing up are not genuine and have faked you into needing their product etc. . .
Why is it that the latest top rated Anti-Virus product, installed with its latest versions of updates, failed to get that malware or spyware? Because, if the Computers Operating System
(Windows) can’t see the process running or thinks its legit, then the anti-virus program thinks its legit too!
These bugs are more than bugs, they are imitators and are very smart. They can lay dormant for a long time and then start to infect the computer with spyware when the time is optimal. They can infect at such a low level that you do not have any indications that it is even there, then it slowly starts to create dummy processes in the background and even open up portals for other robots to enter through the back-door. Kind of like a mother-ship releasing its drones to take over.
The computer starts getting slower and slower.
In the background, these processes might look legit to the system, which is why the Anti-Virus programs cant touch them. Some copyright laws won’t allow them to. (Yes some major corporations are even guilty of spying on you). So after spending alot of $$ on Anti-Virus and Antispyware products, you still have a slow and infected PC!
